Hi,
I cannot recieve email because our incoming mail-server is down (for  
22h now, embarrassing), so I apologize for possibly complaining about  
something that has long been recognized:

I cannot load any http://mitgcm.org pages. Here's the error that my  
browser reports:
> Safari can’t open the page “http://mitgcm.org/”. The error was:  
> “lost network connection” (NSURLErrorDomain:-1005) Please choose  
> Report Bug to Apple from the Safari menu, note the error number,  
> and describe what you did before you saw this message.

Also, mozilla on sea.mit.edu does not find this page, either.
