Hi Jean-Michel and Andrea,
The testing scripts on Columbia had been working for a few months until
you two edited them on Friday. Now they're broken. Which is totally
cool because we all occasionally break stuff. Progress is not a smooth
and effortless thing. ;-)
But, back to the issue of testing scripts. At numerous group meetings
we've discussed (and all agreed) that the testing effort should be
spread out over more people. Martin, for instance, has done a
*WONDERFUL* job of getting regular testing scripts going on his Sun and
Cray systems [Martin, you *rock* !!!]. So, since you two have dug into
the Columbia scripts and made changes, I think its now time to transfer
"ownership" of Columbia testing to you.
Here is the twice-weekly crontab entry that I was using:
05 1 * * 2,6 /u/edhill/bin/cron_wrapper
and everything else is up-to-date within CVS. I've shut off my crontab
entry on Columbia so there won't be any other tests running there.
As always, I'll be happy to answer questions, etc. But the Columbia
testing is now entirely your responsibility.
Ed
