One more thing. I have written code that allows one to impose
a time-dependent surface BC to ptracer. I find this more
satisfactory than strongly relaxing at the surface. (I advertised
it on this list some months ago and was met with defeaning
silence.)
Perhaps you'd be willing to check it in as part of this major
reorganization of the ptracers code. Its only a few routines
and mods.
