Hi Andrea (& Patrick),
I'm forwarding this to the -devel list since Patrick recently updated
the file:
tools/build_options/linux_ia64_ifort+mpi_altix_nas
for the mpt update and therefore knows more about it. I assume the
choice Patrick made is the right one! ;-)
And yes, the mpt module does provide the mpirun bits and it should
(AFAIK) work with different compilers including the ifort 8.x versions
that we have been using so far and that I've built the netCDF libs
for/with.
If it doesn't, then please email and I'll look into it...
