I think the warning is enough for now - global files are only supposed to work 
on a filesystem that supports concurrent non-overlapping writes to the same 
file. NFS is not supposed to be able to do that. Hopefully when I get done 
with the MPI-IO mods to global files I've started working on for mdsio this 
will work in a better manner.
