Hi Jean-Michel,

OK, *this* time I think I've fixed it.  ;-)  The script was deleting the
entire directory and then rebuilding them which threw out all the old
permissions every time.  I'm running the script again right now just to
double-check it.

It looks like the script failed because that disk ran out of space:

  ds-01:/scratch-5    240G  224G  1.2G  99% /net/ds-01/scratch-5

which is really annoying.  We are supposed to be cleaning off the
scratch disks on AO per:

  http://acesgrid.org/storage.html

but I was told by Greg (about two weeks ago) that we have *NO* scripts
deleting files on the main scratch disks.  This issue needs to be
brought up at the next ACES meeting and I'll do it early next week.
