[MITgcm-devel] pserver-problems

Hi Martin,

 Two suggestions

 1 - use the tar file at http://mitgcm.org/download/
     this has most recent checkpoints and daily snapshot.
     It conatins all the CVS directories.

 2 - debug as follows

 One thing to try is to see if you can check out something from sourceforge
via pserver for example

 http://sourceforge.net/cvs/?group_id=38089

 That might help show whether it is mitgcm.org or a firewall problem at your
end.

 Does an ext: and ssh checkout work? I realize that's not what you want, but
it would help to know as ssh and pserver use different ports and your
firewall probably allows ssh.
