Hi Martin,

You're right, "cvs update -d -P" should have worked in that case.  I
just assumed that it was an empty dir problem since thats the only
explanation that made any sense to me.

We've had a few other recent CVS complaints.  Is it still giving you
trouble?  And if so, may I ask what version of CVS you're using?
