Subject: [MITgcm-devel] CVS repository changes

Hi folks,

Due to disk upgrades, the location of the CVS repository has been been
physically moved. If you've been using the "standard" location listed on
the web site:

  http://mitgcm.org/source_code.html

then you should have no problems since soft-links should correctly hide the
"behind the scenes" changes.

However, if (like me) you've used different CVSROOT specifications then here
are a set of bash commands to "change" the repository locations:

  cd TOP_DIRECTORY_OF_YOUR_LOCAL_CVS_COPY
  a=`find . -name Root | grep 'CVS/Root'`
  for i in $a ; do
    echo ':ext:mitgcm.org:/u/gcmpack' > $i
  done

and its also included as a script below. Note that this method is a
convenient way to switch a local copy of CVS content from "pserver" to "ext"
mode.
