Andrea,

There's only one blank (189) as I understand it but the following variables
don't exist even though the corresponding parts of memory are assigned
values (in diagnostics_init_vals):

  54 CUAVE
  55 CVAVE
  56 CTAVE
  57 CQAVE
  64 CPSIGDOT
  83 CPAVE
 118 CVAVEQAVE
 119 CVAVETAVE

I'll tidy it up ... unless there's a reason for the inconsistency?

Andrea,

A "wc" on greps of diagnostics.h and diagnostics_init_vals.F reveal:

  298 lines of cdiag(1) =
  298 lines of tdiag(1) =
  298 lines of gdiag(1) =
  298 lines of udiag(1) =

But only 289 lines of EQUIVALENCE ( CDIAG( 1) , CUFLUX )
and 289 lines of CHARACTER*8 CUFLUX

Which eight are special or are they not meant to be?

E.g. try %fgrep -i EQUIV diagnostics.h | grep CDIAG | wc

Ever feel you're under the microscpe?
