[MITgcm-devel] diagnostics package and mnc format

hi dimitris,
the package you are refering to is the diagnostics package. the option
exists within the diagnostics package for either mdsio (default) or
mnc output format. ed says that he tested out the mnc stuff just 
yesterday or so. the verification experiment hs cube sphere
(hs94.cs-32x32x5) has examples of how to use the diagnostics - see
data.diagnostics file there (and data.pkg) what is not there is how to 
switch from mdsio to mnc - to do this, use the logical namelist flags:
diag_use_mdsio and diag_use_mnc - ie, set the first false and 
the second true. and then yes, add the mnc package to data.pkg.
