Here's the problem: With one tile per cube face exch2 output will be fine as global
or non-global files. Chris and I (as I recall) decided to stick with global files
for configurations with more than 6 tiles, since the alternative is dealing with
output files in multiples of six (with some variations). I mistakenly arranged for
the outputfiles under exch2 to be only globalFile=.true., though this isn't really
necessary for the present 6-tile configurations.
The upshot is that for now I can either set globalFile=.true. in data for the
affected setups, or I can get mdsio_writefield to allow globalFile=.false. when there
are six tiles.
