Whenever the exch2 package is enabled by genmake2 the CPP variable USE_EXCH2
is defined. Better check with Ed in case I'm wrong and it's ALLOW_EXCH2 but
either way, it is there to be used in conjunction with packages. If we
switch to that variable then it should be easier to use exch2 in other
experiments. Not a priority...
Do all the exch2 experiments still work for you after my CPP_EEOPTIONs
clean-up? I did check them all in single-proc mode.
