[MITgcm-devel] do we need exch_z ?

hmmmm

tests with viscA4grid give same tracee with and without exch_z in
adjustment.cs

global_ocean.cs and aim_5l.cs both give different traces with different OL.
They also change with exch_z, but since they should not change with OL they
are a bit troubling.

P.S. I think crashes I saw at the start are due to an NFS screw up and
partial builds. They have gone away with using /s/local. I have asked ts to
sync the clock on the NFS machine they rebooted yesterday.
