I recently "upgraded" the way that global_sum() is used in mon_stats_r*.F -
it got past the verification experiments so not sure what's going on? Try
down grading mon_stats_*.F routines - maybe I messed up something that
involves MPI?

   cvs update -D "5 days ago" pkg/monitor/mon_stats*.F

Alistair, some good news with "non-slippery" coasts.
The hi-res cube integration has gotten past the 1996
Equatorial Pacific sea-mount blow-up with viscA4Grid=1e-3

Anyone knows what happened to the monitor routines?
When I test-report global_ocean.cs32x15, I get a
bunch of NANs for mean and del2's and zeros for sd fields:
