[MITgcm-devel] Exch2 i/o error messages

Hi Andy,

 When you run with exch2 and the file you have specified for input is
missing you get the
 message "non-global input files not           implemented with exch2"

 You used to get a useful message that said "failed opening file xxxx" where
xxxx was the file name.
 That was more useful in explaining people what was wrong.

 Can you fix this when you get a chance.
