Hi Jean-Michel & everyone else,

Yes, we had a disk die and now mitgcm.org should be back.

I had an up-to-date copy of MITgcm on my laptop.  I just did a "cvs co
MITgcm" and it is indeed very different from the last known good one.

So lets:

 1) see if we can get a more recent backup from TS

 2) if not (1), then lets try to figure out the least 
    painful way to get back where we were
