No.  I only installed it on the authors machines so I didn't think it
was necessary.

I didn't install icc v8 but its easy enough to do.

ps - The Intel v8 "GCC binary compatibility" thats so highly touted 
  on their web site apparently doesn't extend to f77.  The GCC folks 
  use double trailing underscores (the cfortran.h "-Df2cFortran" 
  option) and Intel still uses one trailing underscore (the 
  cfortran.h "-DpgiFortran" option) for F77 name-mangling.
