[MITgcm-devel] News on mitgcm web page

All,

 I think it would be good to have an official news area on our MITgcm
web site. 
 A draft MITgcm web page of how I thought it could look is at.

 What do you think? 

 The sorts of things that would go up here would be new checkpoints,
patches, how tos, new platforms, output datasets added to ingrid,
additions to contrib, new tutorials available, plus cool results,
articles, coupling to model foo etc.. that people would like to tell the
mitgcm world about. The entries would be archived after a month or so
under another "previous news" link (that link isn't there yet).
