Thanks for the clarification.

seems that there is a problem with bulk_force (this is why I am checking
all the BULK_FORCE lines), but it's not related to this line 60.

The reason I asked, was that you were the last one to modify
(and fixed) this line of forward_step.
I've looked back in time, and realized that
when Curt checked-in the bulkf pkg, he used  "ALLOW_BULKFORMULAE" first
and then changed  all "ALLOW_BULKFORMULAE" (automatically, I guess)
to ALLOW_BULK_FORCE, including this one ! 
And after, you fixed it, adding "defined (ALLOW_BULKFORMULAE)".

I will clean up this line tomorrow.
