Description: As entered under Tracker:

xmakedepend fails to attach the dependancies to the end of Makefile. It does not give any errors.

Under RH8.0, this behaviour started with the inclusion of the genmake configuration file in xmakedepend.

On other platforms this behaviour is not dependent on that patch. i.e. the problem is deeper rooted in xmakedepend.
