Hi Alistair,

I believe that page is supposed to be that way.  The mailman list is an
administrative thing that comes by default with mailman and the
MITgcm-devel list is a private list so I don't think its supposed to be
advertised on the web.  When we want to invite people to join, we just
send them a link to:

  http://dev.mitgcm.org/mailman/listinfo/mitgcm-devel
