Just three quick steps:

 1) cvs co mitgcm.org/front_content && cd mitgcm.org/front_content

 2) edit "news.xml" -- note that the file contains helpful 
      comments and a "blank form" that you can copy to add 
      a news item

 3) make install

And if you prefer, you can email me the news blurb and I'll do it.
