Hi Ed,

 I think the problem is that you have <base href=http:/mitgcm.org>

 When I edit <base href=http://mitgcm.org> into news.html things get
 better for http://mitgcm.org/news.html (figs show up etc...). Children are
still a mess but they have base wrong too.

 Looks like we will have to get you running IE yet!
