- revise normalization : std (in space) for ov (in analogy with 
  mH,mT,mS that use std in time) and absolute value for jT,jS (costs).
- revise print statement : show percentage (>1) if metric > 0.01 and 
  power of ten (<-2) if metric < 0.01 . Powers of ten are shown in
  parentheses to make the distinction more apparent.
