[Aces-support] weird VI with bracketed text

hello mmanizza-
this is some fancy part of 'vim'.
you can always ignore the fancy parts by typing
/bin/vi
otherwise, you can disable the jumping cursor vi
:set nosm (stands for set noshowmatch)
at this point, vim will highlight the matching
parenthesis, but not move the cursor around on
you. to disable this plugin you can type (from
inside vim)
:NoMatchParen
all in all, it's a jungle of options out there.
furthermore, any of these can also be stored at
~/.vimrc
in which case they would look like this...
:set nosm
:let loaded_matchparen = 1
