Hi folks,

A few of you asked about A/C in 54-1727 and the availability of ACES and
cg01 machines. Heres all I know:

 - there was a general campus A/C problem over the weekend that was
caused by a water chiller failure at a central facility

 - the above problem was compounded by a local problem (lack of
"makeup" water) in 54-1727 due to a valve shutoff in bldg 54

 - all the above was (supposedly) tracked down and fixed around
   noon today

 - Matt is now powering-up machines and hopefully things will
   be OK

So, please send emails if you encounter problems. And, thanks to Matt
for getting things back on-line.

Ed
